Privacy Policy

Knowiz is intended only for students aged 18 or older with a verified college or university email address. You must verify your identity using a valid institutional (.edu or equivalent) email address to use the service.

• Account info: your institutional email, verified with an emailed code, and the name you provide. We do not request access to your email inbox.
• Age confirmation: your date of birth is used once to confirm you are 18 or older and is not stored.
• Game activity: your picks, points, and prediction history.
• Technical data from your device: browser, IP, and basic usage events used to keep the service running and improve it.

• Verify that you are a real, currently enrolled college or university student.
• Run the game: show questions, record picks, compute points and your school's leaderboard.
• Secure accounts and prevent abuse and multi-accounting.
• Improve features through aggregated, de-identified analytics.
• Communicate important account, security, or product updates.

Students verified at your school can see your name, school, points, and prediction record (correct calls, incorrect calls, and accuracy) on the leaderboard.

The following are never shown to other students: your email address, your individual picks on open questions, authentication credentials, private account settings, and any internal moderation data.

We use trusted third parties to host the app, store data, verify school-email sign-in, and measure product usage. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. When you do:

• Your profile, picks, points, and prediction history are removed.
• Your name no longer appears on your school's leaderboard.

• Delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
• Email support@knowiz.site for any privacy request you can't complete in-app.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated in-app.
