Terms of Service

Knowiz is a campus prediction game for educational and community purposes. Verified students call YES or NO on questions about public events at their school and earn points for correct calls. No real money, prizes, securities, or financial instruments are involved.

Knowiz is intended only for students aged 18 or older with a verified college or university email address. You must be enrolled at a supported college or university and verify your identity using a valid institutional (.edu or equivalent) email address. Knowiz is not directed to the general public, to high-school students, or to children.

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your school email account safe. Don't impersonate others or create accounts on behalf of people who haven't agreed. One account per person.

You must follow the Community Guidelines. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, bullying, hate speech, impersonation, multi-account abuse, spam, and any attempt to bypass platform rules. Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account removal.

Every player starts at 1,000 points. A correct prediction is worth +100 points and an incorrect one -100 points. Voided questions and questions you didn't pick change nothing. Points are a cumulative in-app score with no cash value: they cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or redeemed for anything of value. We may adjust, reset, or remove points to fix bugs or prevent abuse.

Only the Knowiz admin can publish and resolve questions. Every question is about a public, objectively verifiable campus event and is posted with a closing time, a resolution rule, and a verification source. Once a question is open for picks, its text and rule are not changed. When the admin resolves a question, the outcome and evidence are shown with the result. If an event is canceled, ambiguous, or cannot be verified under the posted rule, the question is voided and no scores change.

You retain ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant Knowiz a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content on the platform so the service can function.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. When you do, your profile, picks, and points are removed as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the community.

Knowiz is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. Points and rankings are a game, not a measure of anyone's ability or worth.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
