Terms of Service

Knowiz is a virtual prediction market for educational and community purposes. Users trade virtual shares of classmates with $10,000 in virtual cash. No real money, securities, or financial instruments are involved. Knowiz is not a brokerage and nothing on the platform constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice.

Knowiz is intended only for students with a verified college or university email address. You must be enrolled at a supported college or university and verify your identity using a valid institutional (.edu or equivalent) email address. Knowiz is not directed to the general public, to high-school students, or to children.

You are responsible for the activity on your account, for keeping your Google sign-in credentials safe, and for the content you post — including your pitch, goals, milestones, and profile information. Don't impersonate others or create accounts on behalf of people who haven't agreed.

You must follow the Community Guidelines. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, bullying, hate speech, impersonation, fake milestones, vote manipulation, multi-account abuse, market manipulation, spam, and any attempt to bypass platform rules. Violations may result in content removal, stock suspension, temporary suspension, or permanent account removal.

All shares, cash balances, prices, market caps, and leaderboard standings on Knowiz are virtual and have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be redeemed, sold, or transferred for real currency or anything of value. We may adjust, reset, or remove virtual balances to fix bugs, prevent abuse, or improve the simulation.

Before you launch your stock, you are in Preview Mode and your profile is not listed in the market. Once you choose to launch, your profile and stock page become publicly viewable on the web so other Knowiz users can decide whether to invest in you. See the Privacy Policy for the exact list of fields that are public and the fields that always stay private.

You retain ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant Knowiz a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content on the platform so the service can function.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. When you do, your stock is delisted, investors are refunded at the current price, and your personal profile data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the community.

Knowiz is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. Stock prices on Knowiz represent market confidence within the platform and do not reflect a person's objective value, financial worth, or future success.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
